Terms and Conditions of Service for Amazing Dental

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by Amazing Dental ("Amazing Dental," "Dentista en Playa," "we," "us," or "our") at our clinic located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, or when interacting with our digital platforms, including our website and booking systems.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Scope of Services and Agreements

1.1 Service Description Amazing Dental provides comprehensive dental services, including general, cosmetic, restorative, and specialized treatments, as outlined on our website. All services are performed by certified specialists and highly trained staff at our facility in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

1.2 Eligibility and Patient Responsibility By seeking treatment, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age or are accompanied by a legal guardian. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical history, allergy information, and details regarding any current medications or conditions.

1.3 International Patients and Medical Tourism Patients traveling from outside of Mexico, including the US and Canada, acknowledge that they are seeking medical treatment voluntarily in a foreign jurisdiction. Amazing Dental is not responsible for international travel arrangements, accommodations, or non-treatment-related expenses incurred during your stay.

2. Appointments, Consultations, and Estimates

2.1 Booking and Confirmation All appointments, whether in-person or virtual consultations, are subject to availability. Appointments are confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation notice from Amazing Dental, which may require a preliminary deposit or specific documentation.

2.2 Complimentary Personalized Quote offered by Amazing Dental is based on the preliminary information and photographic evidence you provide. This quote is an estimate only and is subject to change upon a comprehensive clinical examination, X-rays, and diagnostics performed by our specialists upon your arrival at the clinic.

2.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy Cancellation or rescheduling of confirmed appointments must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to notify the clinic of a cancellation or significant delay may result in the forfeiture of any booking deposit paid, at the discretion of Amazing Dental.

3. Financial Terms and Payment

3.1 Pricing and Currency All pricing displayed on our website, in quotes, and in the clinic is typically presented in U.S. Dollars (USD) for international clarity, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Final payment may be processed in Mexican Pesos (MXN) at the current exchange rate, or in USD, depending on the payment method.

3.2 Payment Methods We accept various payment methods, including major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Specific procedures may require payment plans or deposits to be finalized prior to the commencement of treatment.

3.3 No Guarantee of Insurance Coverage Amazing Dental does not guarantee reimbursement from U.S., Canadian, or other international insurance providers. It is solely the patient’s responsibility to verify coverage and submit claims to their insurance company. We will provide detailed receipts and documentation upon request to assist with your claim submission.

4. Materials, Quality, and Guarantees

4.1 Commitment to Premium Materials Amazing Dental is committed to using premium, internationally recognized materials and components, including certified implant systems (e.g., Neodent®) and high-grade restorative ceramics (e.g., Zirconium crowns, high-quality porcelain veneers), consistent with the standards of leading dental practices globally.

4.2 Clinical Warranties Amazing Dental provides specific, written warranties on certain dental procedures (e.g., implants, crowns, and veneers) performed by our specialists. The duration and terms of these warranties are provided to the patient in writing following the completion of the procedure. These warranties are contingent upon the patient adhering to recommended maintenance and follow-up care schedules.

4.3 Limitations on Warranty Warranties may be voided if: (a) the patient fails to follow post-treatment instructions; (b) the patient receives major corrective treatment on the restored area from a third-party provider without our written consent; or (c) the damage results from trauma, abuse, or negligence.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 General Liability Amazing Dental and its staff shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the services, or for the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services.

5.2 Medical Tourism Risk Patients acknowledge and accept the standard risks associated with medical travel, including, but not limited to, changes in travel plans, discomfort during travel, or minor postoperative adjustments that may be required upon returning home.

6. Governing Law

6.1 Jurisdiction These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
